Once upon a time, there was an ordinary family house on the outskirts of the city. The family lived here - a mother, father and their daughter Mary. The girl was quiet, withdrawn and often said that "there was someone else in the house". Adults considered this to be a child's fantasy... until something irreparable happened.
One night, the light went out in the house. The neighbors heard a child's crying, and then a sharp crash. When the police entered, Mary was found in the basement, not breathing... The official version was an accident. But the parents insisted: the girl was running away from someone... or something.
