Overview of the quest Experiment 86

Recently, my friends and I visited the quest room "Zombie Laboratory: Experiment86" by Anabioz Quest on Prorizna 22B (Golden Gate/Khreshchatyk). This is a multi-room, two-story thriller quest in variations with and without an actor (we played the version with an actor), lasting up to 60 minutes, in our opinion, the fear level is 2 out of 5, the difficulty is medium

Entourage and atmosphere

From the first step, you are immersed in a post-apocalyptic laboratory, I must look like a louse, because there is nothing to compare it to =) : brick walls, metal grilles, incomprehensible exhibits, mysterious records and mutant dummies. Walking up the stairs and two floors adds a sense of real immersion. The room really feels like a bunker, plus — the presence of an actor for the benefit of concentration, emotions and atmosphere.
This is a quest with an actor, not a performance where everything depends on the actor, here the actor is an additional element of the action.

Plot and puzzles
The plot is simple but effective. The players are a test group, they have to find and neutralize the source of the virus. This plot adds drive and forces you to work in a coordinated manner. The tasks are rich and logical, of medium difficulty: everything is just enough to last the entire time. We were a little under timed, but the staff allowed us to play +15 minutes for an additional symbolic fee, which was a nice bonus

Dynamics and difficulty
The quest is active, with many changes in space, handrails, stairs - it is very energizing. For our team, it seemed especially interesting because of the number of rooms. Difficulty is medium: not too difficult, but not too easy - ideal for those who already have experience in quests of this type.

Staff and organization
The operator saved the situation by giving extra time, so after the game there were only positive emotions. The game requires a prior reservation and a prepayment of 500₴, we arrived 5 minutes before the start — and everything worked clearly

Who is this quest for

– The quest is suitable for both couples and large companies — there is plenty of space, the task is not burdensome.
– For thriller lovers — the atmosphere is slightly frightening, but not too scary.
– For those looking for an active game — you have to physically walk around the location quite a lot. We didn’t have to get bored
– It will suit both teenagers and adults. For those who get very scared, they can add light, and the quest is played almost in the dark

Disadvantages
– Two floors may be difficult for people with reduced mobility.

Summary
"Experiment86" is an atmospheric, driving and meaningful adventure, which is ideal for active leisure in a company of 2-10 friends or a couple (we usually go with 4-5, but here we had a lot of space). Nice surroundings, interesting puzzles, logical presentation of the plot. If you are looking for a quest room in the center of Kyiv with elements of fear, but without excessive intensity - this room is a top option!

Overall rating: 9/10 - I wanted a little more intense scare from the actor, but it still leaves a pleasant impression and a desire to return to other rooms of the company.
