Review of the quest “Golden Rush” from Anabioz Quest – crazy action with an actor!

I want to share my impressions of completing the quest “Golden Rush” in Kyiv, which we visited last Saturday with friends. The impression is 100%! In short: it was one of the coolest quests in my life, and I definitely recommend it to everyone who wants something more than just solving puzzles.

Location and meeting

The quest is located in the very center of Kyiv - on Shota Rustaveli, not far from the “Palace of Sports” metro station. It is very convenient to get there, and the location itself already adds atmosphere. On site, we were met by administrators, who immediately put us in the mood for the game - a little intrigue, a little humor, and we were ready to plunge into the world of the Wild West.

Plot and atmosphere

From the first minutes it becomes clear: this is not just a room with puzzles, the quest is quite entourage and large. The plot is about a bandit and his treasures, which we, of course, want to find. But not everything is so simple - somewhere in the darkness an actor is hiding, and at certain moments he appears so unexpectedly that it gives goosebumps (for me, I can’t speak for everyone). And at the same time, everything is dosed competently - not horror, but in such a way as to keep you in suspense.

Riddles and dynamics

Riddles are logical, diverse, not banal. There were tasks for attentiveness, coordination, interaction between players. The actor periodically changed the course of events, intervened in the game, and this really enhanced the effect of presence. There were several moments when you had to literally run to another room - it’s cool that there is physical dynamics!

The actor is a separate respect

The actor is not just a “scarecrow”, but a full-fledged character. He fit into the game so naturally that we really forgot that it was “just a quest”. His appearance was always unexpected and witty, and sometimes really scary.

Teamwork

Our team consisted of three people, but there is enough space in the quest for larger companies. We constantly had to coordinate actions, divide roles, look for clues. Everyone was involved, no one stood aside. It was fun and adrenaline at the same time.

Summary

We liked this quest, it is an emotional explosion and pleasant memories of the time spent. The entourage, plot, actor, riddles - everything is at the highest level. For more than 20 completed quests in Kyiv, "Golden Rush" was definitely in my TOP-3. If you want driving impressions, a little fear, a little laughter and a lot of emotions - be sure to go.
